When it comes to leveling up any spring look, the first thing that comes to my mind is a trench coat. Throwing on a trench coat automatically makes your outfit look chic. I love them most in traditional tan, but this season I have been seeing trench coats in lovely creams and muted pinks that are beautiful as well!

5 Outfits with a Trench Coat
1.) White Tee + Light Wash Jeans + Mules
Coat (I sized down one size and it is still oversized) | Tee (Easy Raglan Tee from Everlane – new version) | Earrings | Necklace | Sunglasses (old from Warby Parker) | Jeans (I sized down one size) | Shoes
Light wash jeans with a classic white tee and tan trench is a light and easy outfit combination. I love that the cheetah print mules, gold jewelry, and black sunglasses add a bit of edge to this look. The overall look feels classic, with a hint of edge and whimsey.
2.) Midi Dress + Sneakers
Coat (I sized down one size and it is still oversized) | Dress | Earrings | Sneakers (same style in similar colors)
My love of midi dresses with sneakers is still going strong this season. I am always really into juxtaposition, and in this outfit I love how the sneakers make the dress look more casual, and how the trench makes the whole look more cool and put together. Floral prints are perfect for spring, but a solid color dress would also be lovely in this outfit combination.
3.) Feminine Blouse + Ripped Mom Jeans + Block Heel Sandals
Coat (I sized down one size and it is still oversized) | Blouse | Sunglasses (old from Warby Parker) | Jeans (I am 5’7″ and I got the long length, mine are a wash from a previous season) | Shoes
This outfit is my favorite of the bunch. I love the muted tones, small floral print, texture of the ripped jeans, and neutral feminine sandals. It feels light, fresh, and so spring-y. I love everyday looks that are slightly elevated like this one!
4.) White Jeans + Black Top + Flatform Sandals
Coat (I sized down one size and it is still oversized) | Shirt (old from H&M – similar) | Sunglasses | Jeans | Sandals
I really enjoy wearing the classic, neutral color combination of white, black, and tan. These color work so well together in every single season. I like that the three colors from the apparel all repeat in the flatform sandals. These sandals are so comfy, and I love when an outfit looks slightly elevated while remaining comfortable.
