After months of searching for the “perfect” one, I finally got my hands on a shacket (shirt-jacket)! You can find them in regular length or long length, and in a variety of fabrics, colors, and prints!
I wanted a long, printed shacket because my other jackets are shorter and solid colors— so this piece adds variety to what I already have. I decided to fully lean into the trend and get plaid, a very traditional shirt print. Shackets have been super popular this fall and winter. The one in this post is from H&M. I have seen this exact style from them in seven plus different fabrics and prints and they sell out fast. My exact print is not in stock online but I recently saw it in one of the local Nashville stores. This style runs oversized. I sized down one size and I love the fit, as it is still slightly oversized. For height reference, I am 5’7″, the shacket comes down right above my knees, and the sleeve length is perfect.
Here are some links to a variety of shackets: long black and white, faux shearling, red plaid, boucle, cozy solid, jacquard print, green plaid, long brown plaid, long gray plaid, tan and blue plaid, sage plaid, beige checks belted, gray wool, black checks

Outfit #1: Shacket + Sweatsuit + Lug Boots
Shacket | Sweatshirt | Sweatpants | Hat (mine is taupe and sold out) | Sunglasses (old Tom Ford – similar) | Boots (from H&M – sold out)
This outfit is so comfortable! The sweatsuit is elevated by the shacket and boots. I love the printed jacket contrasted against the solid sweatsuit. It is inspired by how H&M styled it, but with a different shoe choice and added accessories. If you are not a fan of lug boots or they are not something you own, you could swap them out for sneakers. Outfit #2: Shacket + Turtleneck + Jeans + Sneakers
Shacket | Tote | Sunglasses (old from Warby Parker) | Turtleneck | Jeans (mine are this style in an older wash that are also 100% cotton and I sized up one size) | Sneakers
I have loved wearing turtlenecks this season. I really like how they look layered under a shacket that is buttoned up. I added my favorite vintage-like jeans and white sneakers for an easy, everyday look. The whimsical sunnies and leather tote help add warmth and interest to this outfit.
Outfit #3: Shacket + Crewneck Sweater + Black Skinny Jeans + Combat Boots
Shacket | Sweater (I sized down one because they were out of my normal size, but my normal size would have worked too) | Earrings | Bag (old – similar same brand) | Jeans (I sized down one size) | Boots
Crewneck sweaters have been another go-to for me this fall and winter. I love when they are textured, like the one in this outfit. The black skinny jeans and black combat boots make this outfit more chic and elevated than the others, but still perfect for everyday wear.
