The Scott Trench Coat from Sézane is the epitome of a classic trench coat. This staple wardrobe item has tons of staying power and will last in your closet for literally— forever. Living in Nashville, I can wear this coat in the spring, fall, and even winter, since it’s not too cold here.

Trench coats are so great because they elevate every outfit that they’re a part of, polishing off and completing each look. They’re really versatile and easy to style. You can wear them over a sweatsuit and sneakers, a little black dress and heels, and everything in-between.

How does the Scott Trench Coat Fit?

The website says if you’re between sizes, to choose the size below. Otherwise, choose your normal size. I’m a small-medium on top, a four to six with six being my truest size. I chose to not go with my smaller size and get the size six because I was worried about sleeve length, as I have long arms. The six is perfect on me, and I was glad I didn’t size down to the four. In my opinion, this runs exactly true to size.

The Scott Trench Coat from Sézane has a belt to tie at the waist, button tabs on the shoulders and cuffs, and a slit with buttons in the back. The fabric weight is nice and substantial. The coat is water repellant and it’s lined.

Is the Scott Trench Coat Worth it?

When I received the Scott Trench Coat from Sézane and opened the box it was in, I was struck by how high-quality the coat felt. Additionally, the fit and design details are impeccable. This coat is so versatile and it will never go out of style, so it’s a great investment piece. It is priced at $305 and I believe it’s worth the price.

This first outfit feels super classic and laid-back. The button up and loafers are polished and the jeans are casual. I love the warmth of the bag, and the detail of the gold chain strap.

I felt great in this outfit when I wore it. It felt modern and fun. The colors all tie in together nicely. I like the pop of red in the words on the graphic sweatshirt, it adds great visual interest.

I really love wearing this outfit combo. It’s feels really effortless and perfectly casual chic. I love it as shown in these neutral color combos, but it would look lovely with a pop of color in a sweater too.
