I’ll just cut right to it— the Gaspard jumper lives up to the hype. This classic piece from Sézane is a versatile cardigan, and wardrobe staple, that can be in rotation in your closet throughout all the seasons. After seeing the Gaspard jumper on friends, I knew I had to try it myself. And as you may have gathered from my opening sentence, it didn’t disappoint. 🙂
Jumper (gifted, I sized down one size to small) | Dress (gifted, tts – medium) | Necklace (similar same brand) | Earrings
If you see something you like you can shop for the item(s) and support my blog at the same time by purchasing through the affiliate links in this post. As always, I really appreciate your support!
The Gaspard jumper is currently available in nineteen colors! You can get the it in any neutral color you can think of, plus some other bright colors and muted tones. In this post I am wearing the camel color. There are color options for everyone and each season they release new color choices.
How does the Gaspard Jumper Fit?
The Sézane website recommends taking your true size in the Gaspard jumper but going with your smaller size if you’re in-between sizes. I wear between a small and a medium in tops depending on the cut and the brand. In top layers and in something straight cut like this, I would normally choose a medium but opted for the small since it runs a bit big. The small ended up fitting me perfectly. It’s available in sizes XXS – XXXL.
This jumper feels lightweight and soft, yet warm. The buttons have a pearl effect and can be worn open the in front, buttoned up in front, or turned around and buttoned up on your back— versatility for the win!
Is the Sézane Gaspard Jumper Worth the Price?
As I’ve added more pieces from Sézane to my closet, I’m constantly impressed with the fit, quality materials, and details. Sézane is the definition of affordable luxury. For what these clothes are, the prices are very reasonable. The clothes feel luxurious and the prices are lower than many other brands offering ethically and sustainably made clothing. The Gaspard jumper is $120 and I believe it’s worth the investment. To be honest, I have yet to find something from Sézane that isn’t worth the price.
How to Style a Sézane Gaspard Jumper
1.) Jumper + Tailored Shorts + White Sneakers
Jumper (gifted – I sized down one size) | Shorts (sold out from AF – similar, similar) | Earrings | Necklace (similar same brand) | Bag | Sneakers (tts – use code MICHELLE15 for 15% off your first order)
This was the first outfit that I put together when I got this jumper and I love everything about it. I really enjoy wearing cardigans buttoned up as tops. The jumper pairs so nicely with tailored shorts and the white sneakers make this look feel both casual and modern.
2.) Gaspard Jumper + Dress + Sandals
Jumper (gifted – I sized down one size) | Dress (gifted – tts) | Necklace (similar same brand) | Sandals (I sized down 1/2 size)
Worn in this second look at a true cardigan, I love it unbuttoned too. It’s an easy piece to throw on as a top layer over a dress, jumpsuit, or top. Here I paired it with my white maxi dress and leather huarache sandals for a neutral and effortless summer outfit.
3.) Gaspard Jumper + Jeans + Flats
Jumper (gifted – I sized down one size) | Necklace (similar same brand) | Jeans (tts) | Bag (gifted) | Mules (old from Madewell – similar)
In this last outfit, I paired the jumper with distressed 90s jeans and light colored accessories. This look feels put together yet laid back, a perfect everyday look. I love the mixture of different textures of the materials between the jumper, denim, and leather accessories.
