If I could only pick one outfit combination to wear every day of the week, it would be a feminine blouse with jeans. Together they embody my style perfectly. I love juxtaposition and this pairing packs it in with the mix of hard and soft, masculine and feminine, casual and dressy, etc.
I recently started partnering with Sézane (file it under, a dream come true). The Chloé Shirt in this post was gifted to me by them. I earn a small commission when you purchase items through my links and as always, I am so grateful for your support. With that said, this blog post is not sponsored by them— I chose to write it on my own.
About Sézane:
Sézane is a French brand and I really love their aesthetic. The pieces are high-quality and so beautiful. On their website, they note that the idea behind Sézane is simple, “create high-quality, perfectly-cut pieces that can be worn forever”. They also note that they “offer all women luxury at a fair and accessible price”. Additionally, Sézane is B Corp certified, which means they’ve met high standards in their social and environmental impact as they create products. You can read about their philanthropic program and their sustainability program on their website. I love what they’re doing and how they are doing it!
The Chloé Shirt Fit & Fabrication:
Sézane’s Chloé Shirt is long-sleeved with a button front and a ruffle around the placket and collar. The style I have is 100% cotton in the red mini bouquet print. It is also sold in solid colors that are 100% silk as well as a couple of other fabrications.
For sizing, I’m between a small and a medium in tops— it’s about 50/50 in my closet. For straight cut or structured items I usually take a medium. Sézane’s website recommends sizing down for this shirt if you’re in-between sizes, but to take your normal size otherwise. With this in mind, I opted to try the size 4 (US) and it fits me perfectly.
I really love the Sézane Chloé Shirt. It’s a classic shape but with feminine detailing. The print is beautiful. I had no problem easily pairing it with so many different things in my closet. It’s such a lovely piece, so surrounding it with high quality basics really makes it the focal point of an outfit. Here are some of the ways I’m wearing it.

This outfit feels very feminine spring chic. I love the wide leg, sailor style jeans paired with the feminine Chloé shirt. The light accessories really pull it even further into the spring zone and it ultimately feels like an elevated, everyday look.
2.) Trench Coat + Chloé Shirt + Jeans
Trench Coat (old from H&M – similar, similar, similar) | Shirt | Earrings | Necklace (same brand similar options) | Jeans | Sunglasses | Bag | Shoes
I really like this outfit. Everything feels structured and classic, except the Chloé shirt which is right at the center of the outfit bringing a soft, feminine contrast to the rest of the look. This outfit feels put together and perfect for everyday wear.
3.) Trousers + Shirt +Sandals
Shirt | Earrings | Necklace (same brand similar options) | Bag (old from ABLE – similar, similar) | Pants | Shoes
I love the Chloé blouse paired with wide leg, tailored trousers. When it’s tucked in, the proportions are perfect. I added the red handbag to coordinate with the print on the shirt and help draw it out from the sea of neutrals.
4.) Chloé Shirt + Rome Shorts + Mules
Shirt | Earrings | Bag (old from ABLE – similar, similar) | Shorts | Shoes (old from Madewell – similar I have these in brown, size up 1/2)
The Chloé shirt works really well with shorts. Here, I paired it with Sézane’s Rome Shorts (full review here), which are belted and high-waisted. I added the red handbag again because I love it so much with the shirt, and my bone mules pair back to the base color of the shirt.
5.) Denim Jacket + Shirt + Black Washed jeans + Sandals
Jacket | Shirt | Earrings | Bag | Jeans (I sized down one size) | Sandals
This last look is the most casual. I love the Chloé Shirt mixed with the textures of the denim, leather, and raffia in this look. This could easily be worn any day of the week!
Are you a Sézane fan? If you haven’t checked them out yet, I highly recommend doing so. I have another Sézane piece coming up soon on the blog that I’m excited to share, so stay tuned!
