Blazers have been a go-to item for me this fall and winter. I have a black blazer and a couple of plaid blazers that are all in constant rotation. I shared a post with four outfit ideas with a black blazer and today I’m sharing five outfits with a plaid blazer. Keeping true to my style, these outfits are mostly casual and perfect for everyday wear.

Both of the plaid blazers in this post are from H&M and I purchased them in-store. One of them is from last year and one from this year. I don’t often find plaid blazers on H&M’s website, but I recommend checking out your local store if you have one. In general, I find that I like the cuts and fits of H&M blazers, they’re affordable, and good quality. With that said, I will link similar options from other brands in case you want to shop online.

Five Outfits with a Plaid Blazer:

1.) Turtleneck + Blazer + Jeans + Boots

This has been a go-to outfit combo of mine this winter. I like how put together it looks while still being comfortable. I also like how the style of jeans and boots that you choose can really switch up the look, like the difference in the two above outfit photos. Overall this outfit combo feels simultaneously chic and laid-back.

2.) Graphic Tee + Plaid Blazer + Jeans

I really like how casual and interesting this outfit is with the graphic tee paired with the plaid blazer. Again, any style of denim works and you can switch up your shoe choice between flats, boot, or sneakers. You can make such a variety of looks with this outfit combination and it’s perfect for everyday!

3.) Jumpsuit + Plaid Blazer + Heels

This look is the most elevated of the bunch. It’s perfect to wear when you need to be slightly dressed up and you want to stay warm. It’s a great mix of relaxed and polished.

4.) Blazer + Ripped Jeans + Dress Boots

This outfit would look dressy if I swapped the ripped jeans for black skinny jeans (idea to file away for later), but I intentionally added the ripped jeans for a casual element. The distressing of the jeans brings contrast and a bit of texture to this outfit.

5.) Plaid Blazer + White Tee + Full Length Jeans + White Sneakers

This feels really fun and casual. The outfit base is the most simple combo— white tee, jeans, and white sneakers. I love the full length jeans here but if that’s not your thing you could swap for a different style of jeans.
