My go-to winter outfit combos for 2025 are formulas I know I can depend on and repeat all season long. I’m sharing these combos with you today, in hopes of inspiring you to find combos that you really like. Full disclosure, winter isn’t my favorite. Luckily, it doesn’t get too cold or stay cold for very long here in Tennessee. The upside of winter dressing is that I really love jackets and layering, so I get to wear some of my favorite pieces.

How to Discover Your Go-To Seasonal Outfit Combos:

If you want to discover your go-to seasonal outfit combos, I recommend taking photos of your outfits (just a quick mirror selfie) and/or writing down what you wear. Then you can go over your photos/notes to find repeated combinations. Or, you can do the reverse— start with a list of combinations that you have seen and like, then create your outfits from there. Need outfit inspo? Check Pinterest, fashion blog, social media, magazine, and the street style where you live.

A sweater and jeans is a classic and simple base for winter outfits. This year, Ioafers have been my shoe of choice with this outfit base, with or without socks. A long coat and accessories complete the look and either make it look more casual (left) or elevated (right).

The second combo is the ultimate lazy-but-cool-girl, undone look. A sweatsuit is basically pjs. : ) Sneakers and a baseball cap are casual too. The oversized, maxi length coat, sunglasses, and slouchy, suede bag elevate the look.

I love jumpsuits both for their aesthetic and ease. For winter, I have this long-sleeved one. I paired it with my absolute favorite boots and a long, quilted coat. The sunglasses and patent leather tote add chic-ness and make the outfit look complete.

This casual outfit is the perfect weekend look. The base is casual with a graphic sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers. The suede jacket adds warmth and texture. The black sunnies and bag elevate the final look.

A turtleneck and jeans in another one of my favorite winter outfit bases. It feels really timeless and chic. While any cut of denim works, I especially like this look with wide leg jeans. I added black accessories and a leopard print coat for a bit of whimsical interest.
