Have you started buying gifts for the holidays yet? I love this time of year— gathering with family, holiday festivities, making holiday treats, decorating, and giving gifts. We have a lot of traditions and I think that makes the holidays so fun. One thing we do is exchange gifts with our family.
I made a few gift guides for this year— for her, for him, and for kids. My goal was to make these resources in case you need some extra ideas when shopping for the people you care about. A note on the kids list: I have two sons (ages 6.5 and 10) and one daughter (age 4.5) and this list is full of things that they all enjoy, and most of which we have. I tried to be super thoughtful and pick the things my kids really like and use a lot, so I hope it helps! Happy Shopping!
If you see something you like you can support my blog and shop the item(s) at the same time by purchasing through the affiliate links in this post. As always, I really appreciate your support!
Holiday Gift Guide for Her:
- Leather Pouch: Who doesn’t love a high-quality leather pouch? This one is from one of my favorite local brands that produces items that are ethical and sustainable. It is also available in black.
- Santalum Candle: This smells incredible! Once you’ve used the candle you can clean it out and it becomes a whisky glass. How cool is that? This is from a local Nashville brand as well.
- Gold Hoops: I wear these literally every single day. They are super affordable and wearable and have held up so well.
- Pan: This is the best pan I’ve ever owned. It’s pretty, so it lives on my stove top. It is so easy to clean and it’s the perfect size.
- Throw Blanket: I love neutrals and texture and this cozy throw blanket has both of those things. Perfect for cuddling up on the couch to watch a movie.
- Personalized Cuff Bracelet: A sweet friend of mine got this bracelet for me. You can get a letter engraved on each side of the opening and she got a “K” for me to remember my sister Kate and an “L” to remember my daughter Lucy. Other ideas would be your own initials, the first letter of kids names if you have two, or the first letter of your name and your spouses. This is from an ethical fashion brand here in Nashville.
- Watering Can: This was on my mom’s Christmas list and I think it’s adorable. If you have a plant lover in your life, this is a cute option. It also comes in bronze.
- Slippers: These are so cozy and high-quality. I’ve had mine for years and I love them so much.
- Coin Necklace: This is another jewelry piece that I wear every single day. It is handmade by a friend of mine who has her own jewelry company. She has so many great pieces that would work as gifts!
- Canvas Tote: This tote comes in three colors and I love the olive! It’s perfect for a day out of the house and it’s made by one of my favorite local brands.
- Face Roller: I have this and it’s so soothing. My daughter loves to grab it and use it as well.
- Water Bottle: Everyone in our family has a water bottle from this brand. They keep your liquids cold, or warm (my husband uses one for coffee) for a really long time. They also have tons of styles of tops that you can get for your preference.
- Socks: I think these socks are adorable and they look so cozy. These are from a local Nashville brand. They have the cutest shop and you can shop their items online as well.
- Bandana: This is from the same shop as the socks. They have many colors of bandanas but this is my current favorite. I love everything they make!
- Pot: This is a newer item that I don’t have yet, but it’s so pretty and it’s from the same brand as the pan I have and love and I can only imagine this would be a wonderful addition to any kitchen.
Holiday Gift Guide for Him:
- Puzzle: I love how this puzzle looks and it’s such a fun activity to gather around a table and put together with your family.
- Leather & Pine Candle: This is my husband’s favorite candle. It’s the same candle (different scent) as the one I put on the list for her. My husband really likes that he gets a whiskey glass once the candle is used up.
- Rip Stop Hat: This is a great basic staple piece. Perfect for a weekend look and for outdoor activities.
- Scattergories Vintage Bookshelf Edition Game: Isn’t this cool? I don’t love the look of game boxes. It’s so cool that when this game is all put away, you can set it on your shelf and it looks like a book.
- Beanies: Everyone needs a beanie in the winter, and I love this one. It is available in six colors.
- Cocktail Shaker: This is from my husband’s Christmas list. If you know someone who likes making drinks, this is a great option.
- Water Bottle: This is the same brand and the water bottle I put on the list for her.
- Leather Card Holder: I love this leather card holder, perfect for a man who doesn’t like carrying a full wallet.
- Old Style Polaroid Camera: I think this is fun if you’re into things that look vintage. I love the idea of polaroid pictures. They are to digital pictures as a record player is to streaming music— you can touch it and hold it in your hands and it has a bit of soul.
- Tote Bag: This bag looks sturdy and like it’s such a great size— perfect for a weekend away. It is available in three colors.
- Travel Case: This matches the above bag and is available in two colors.
- Texting Gloves: A necessity in the world of smart phones. Perfect for keeping your hands warm while still being able to use the touch screen on your phone. These are available in three colors.
- The Art of Manliness Book: My husband has this and it’s such a fun read— a perfect coffee table book.
Holiday Gift Guide for Kids:
- Nugget Comfort: These are so fun. They can be used like the picture shows, to sit on. But it’s a bunch of pieces that you can move around and stack to make forts.
- Super Tip Markers: These are our go-to markers that my kids draw with daily.
- Teddy Bear: All three of my kids have this bear and they all love it. It’s so cute, soft, and high-quality.
- Headphones: These are adjustable and my kids have these to use with their Amazon Fire Tablet.
- Legos: This is such a classic toy, with endless creative possibilities. My kids love legos!
- Rainbow Loom: This is a fun item that you make bracelets with. We know many kids who love this and make and wear the bracelets.
- Sorry Game: This is a favorite in our house. It’s great because it’s fun but simple enough that kids can play on their own.
- Magnet Blocks: These block are amazing and so fun! All of my kids love them.
- Amazon Fire Tablets: My kids love playing games on these.
- Uno Attack: This is another favorite game in our house.
- Drawing Pads: For kids who love to make art, you can’t have enough white paper.
- Mouse Trap Game: I had this game as a kid and I loved it. We have it and my kids love it so much.
- Mini Backpack: I love this brand and style of backpack. This small size works well for young kids, and they have bigger ones for older kids and adults too. They have so many color options.
- 3 Little Books: This is such a fun kit. You get three small, white, hard cover books with a little sleeve they fit into. Kids can create their own stories and illustrations. All of my kids love this one too.
- Card Holder: Perfect for small hands playing card games.
- Pop-Its: These have been all the rage with kids lately, all my kids play with these.
I hope this was helpful! For more ideas on places to shop for Christmas gifts, check out this post (disregard last year’s sale info) that I shared last year. It’s full of my favorite local brands and shops that you can support here in Nashville. Happy shopping, friends!
