I love everyday fashion essentials— versatile pieces in flattering silhouettes made from high-quality fabrics. The older I get, the more I appreciate better made clothing. What do I mean by that? Clothing that is designed with thoughtfulness and intention. Brands that skip the lure of fast fashion and take time to find just the right fabric and get just the right fit so you have high-quality pieces in your wardrobe that last for years.
Recently, I started partnering with a brand called Grayson. They are a female founded company and they donate two percent of their revenue to causes that lift women up and make them stronger. You can check out their website here, and browse around to see all of their collections. If you find something you like, you can use the code MICHELLETOMCZAK for $25 off of your purchase.

Today I’m sharing about The Artist Collection from Grayson. It currently includes a short sleeved shirt in few different fabrics and a short sleeved dress in tumbled linen. I have both styles and I’ve been enjoying wearing them so much!
Grayson’s Sizing: The Artist Collection
How does Grayson’s sizing run? Instead of having sizes xsmall through xlarge, they have sizes one through five. I’m 5’7″ and I wear between a small and a medium in tops depending on the style and brand. In dresses I usually wear a true size medium. On their size chart I am right on the line between size two and three. In both the Artist Shirt and the Artist Dress I wear a size two, which equals a small— so I sized down in both styles and the fit is perfect for me.
Grayson’s Fabrics: The Artist Collection
In the Artist Collection, they offer garments made out of 100% tissue cotton, 100% tumbled linen, and 100% lyocell, which they call liquid flannel. All of these fabrics are machine washable and easy to care for. I have washed all of my garments and they’ve held up nicely!

The Artist Short Sleeve Shirt in Tissue Cotton
Shirt (I sized down one size) | Shorts (from last year – new version) | Earrings | Bag | Sandals
I love the cut of this shirt. It’s perfectly drapey and feels classic with a modern twist. I like the buttons in front and that they do not go all the way up to the collar, leaving a more open and relaxed neckline. This shirt is super ideal for the summer months. I know you can’t tell in the photo, but Grayson’s tissue cotton is incredibly lightweight. They describe it as “light-as-air” and I couldn’t agree more— it’s perfect for the hottest days. In this outfit I paired the Artist Shirt with belted linen blend shorts and platform sandals for a neutral summer look.

Next, these outfits show the Artist Shirt in a different fabric, tumbled linen. Linen is one of my favorite fabrics. I love the texture and casual feeling that the it adds to outfits. The fabric drapes so nicely and I love the detail of the cuffed sleeves. My style definitely skews casual and this piece fits in seamlessly with the other items in my summer wardrobe. I will continue to wear this as the weather transitions to fall!

The minute I slipped the Artist Dress on for the first time, I immediately loved it. It feels like such an effortless piece to throw on and feel put together in. Pictures honestly don’t do it justice. I love all the same details from the Artist shirt— cuffed sleeves, buttons, and pocket, on the dress. This is made in the tumbled linen fabric which I love and it is a great length on me. (I am 5’7″) I have already worn this dress many times and will continue to wear it into fall.
These high-quality pieces from The Artist Collection from Grayson can be worn throughout the year, alone in hotter months and layered in cooler months. They are so versatile and wearable! I purchased two of Grayson’s Changemaker dresses. I have not worn either because they are so wrinkled and can’t be worn. I couldn’t send them back because they were on sale. What am I to do?

Hi! I have a steamer and I always steam mine. That’s been a game changer for me for clothing that wrinkles. I got mine a few years ago.
