Today I’m excited to share about some new shoes I recently got— the Tash d’orsay moccasins from Frēda Salvador. These shoes are BEAUTIFUL. It can be hard to tell in outfit photos, but wow— these are very high quality and have lovely details. They are a modern take on a penny loafer with a d’orsay cut and tan croc embossed leather.
I partner with Frēda Salvador in their affiliate program. This means that they gift product to me and when you purchase through my links I earn a small commission. However, this post isn’t sponsored, meaning I decided on my own to write it. As always, I’m super grateful for your support. Why I love Frēda Salvador:
This is my second pair of Frēda Salvador shoes and let me tell you why I love this brand. First, this quote from their website about the brand really resonates with me. “Respect for product, people, and the planet is at the heart of everything we do.” As I’ve worked to intentionally build my wardrobe, as well as be a blogger who is sharing outfits and brands, I find myself wanting to invest in and wear brands that not only have great products, but also do things with a high amount of character.
Second, they are “redefining modern, feminine style” (quote from their website). I own white sneakers and tan loafers from this brand. Two styles of shoes that have been around for pretty much forever— classics. But Frēda Salvador somehow makes these easily identifiable, classic styles new— with a modern fit, interesting details and fabrics. They strike this really amazing balance, that I believe is hard to achieve, and they seem to nail is consistently. The shoes they make feel remarkably unique while also feeling so familiar and wearable (classics). The shoes they make perfectly elevate outfits.
Lastly, they work with family-owned factories in Italy and Spain where they make small batch collections and produce high quality shoes that will last for years. This plays back into the first reason why I love the brand.
How do the Tash Moccasins fit?
I got the tash moccasins in my true size and they fit me perfectly. They’re made of 100% Italian leather in quince embossed croc and have a leather stacked .75″ heel. They do require a bit of breaking in, which is normal for leather shoes. When I got them I put socks on and wore them around the house to break them in a bit before wearing them out for the day. After they’re properly broken in, these shoes are incredibly comfortable and easy to slip on.
Frēda Salvador Tash Mocassins Outfits:
1.) Tank Top + Shorts + Sweater + Tash Mocassins
Sweater (gifted, tts) | Tank Top (sold out from Target) | Necklace (gifted) | Earrings (gifted) | Bag | Shorts (tts) | Shoes (gifted, tts – use code MICHELLE15 for 15% off)
The first outfit is a laid-back summer look. Here I wore the shoes with a high neck tank top, hemmed denim shorts, and a striped sweater on my shoulders. This outfit feels put together yet approachable, an easy everyday look. As the season will soon change to fall, I would wear this same combo and swap out the shorts for my light-wash 90s jeans.
2.) Camp Shirt + Jeans + Loafers
Shirt (gifted, tts – MICHELLETOMCZAK15 for 15% off your first purchase) | Jeans (tts) | Bag (gifted, envelope convertible crossbody in honey – use code MICHELLE_TOMCZAK for 25% off) | Shoes (gifted, tts – MICHELLE15 for 15% off your first purchase)
This second outfit is a great summer to fall transitional look. The loafers add interest to the pairing of the cream camp shirt and dark, tapered jeans. I love all of the textures in this outfit from the smooth top, to the rigid denim, and the embossed croc shoes.
3.) Dress + Tash Moccasins
Dress (size down one) | Necklace (gifted) | Bag (old from ABLE – similar) | Shoes (gifted, tts – use code MICHELLE15 for 15% off your first order)
The tash moccssions look great when you pair them with a dress. This feels everyday elevated and a step up from my usual pairing of a dress and white sneakers (which I also love). This would be great for a casual event, church, or everyday wear.
4.) Tank Top + Distressed 90’s Jeans + Loafers
Tank Top (tts) | Necklace (similar same brand) | Earrings | Jeans (tts) | Bag (gifted, small circle crossbody in lavender – use code MICHELLE_TOMCZAK for 25% off your purchase) | Shoes (gifted, tts – MICHELLE15 for 15% off your first order)
This outfit is very laid-back and it’s all about the details. Here I have a simple, white tank top with distressed 90s jeans and the embossed croc tash moccasins. I finished the look with a pop of purple, I’ve been loving this little bag. The end result is a lovely, everyday outfit. For fall I would simple add any kind of jacket or an oversized cardigan.
5.) Tank Top + Trousers + Tash Moccasins
Tank Top (tts) | Necklace (gifted) | Earrings (gifted) | Pants (sold out from Abercrombie) | Bag (old from ABLE – similar) | Shoes (gifted, tts – code MICHELLE15 for 15% off your first order)
This last look is a bit more elevated. Here I paired the tash moccasions with black tailored trousers. I’m wearing a white tank top, but as fall rolls in I would swap it for a white tee. This combination would also work well in an office setting with a white blouse instead of the tank.
