I bought Agolde Lana Jeans around this time last year. Agolde had just released the style and I was really excited about it because the Lana Jeans are straight leg jeans with a full-length inseam. When I got them, I liked the fit but I also struggled a bit with styling them and always ended up cuffing them to a shorter length. (I am 5’7″) When this fall rolled around, I pulled out the Lana jeans and styling them this year just sort of, clicked. I still like them cuffed, but also now love them in outfits, full-length.

How do Agolde Lana Jeans Fit?
Agolde’s website recommends getting your true size in this style. They’re meant to sit low on your hips, but I opted to size down and wear them higher and more fitted— the rise is 11 1/2 inches. They’re rigid, made from 100% organic cotton, so no stretch in the fabric. They do stretch out a bit with wear, relaxing and molding to your body. The Lana Jeans have a button-fly closure and a straight leg cut with a 31″, full-length inseam. I have them in a clean, dark wash called vingnette, which is no longer available. This season the Lana Jeans are available white, black, gray and blue washes, some with rips and others clean. They now also come in a crop version.
Agolde Lana Straight Leg Jeans Outfits
1.) Button Front Shirt + Jeans + Oxfords
Shirt (gifted, I sized down one size – use code MICHELLETOMCZAK for $25 off your purchase on full-price items) | Sunglasses | Earrings | Necklace | Jeans (new wash – tts for a relaxed fit, consider sizing down one size for a fitted look) | Shoes
I love this outfit combination because it is full of pieces that fit perfectly that are made of high-quality materials— linen, organic cotton, and leather. I love all the textures, materials, and colors. This outfit feels casual yet put together, and a top layer can easily be added to it on chilly days.
2.) Turtleneck + Agolde Lana Jeans + Slip-On Sneakers
Turtleneck | Earrings | Sunglasses | Bag | Jeans (new wash – tts for a relaxed fit, consider sizing down one size for a fitted look) | Sneakers
This look is casual, comfortable, and the accessories make it a little bit fun. Black, white and denim are always a lovely combo. Also, I’ve really been love wearing turtlenecks, for more outfit ideas with turtlenecks, check out this post.
3.) Crewneck Sweater + Lana Jeans + Boots
Sweater | Earrings | Bag (old from ABLE – similar) | Necklace | Jeans (new wash – tts for a relaxed fit, consider sizing down one size for a fitted look) | Boots (old from Zara – this year’s version)
I love the jeans full-length, but they also look great cuffed to the perfect length for boots. Cuffing them makes them feel even more casual and relaxed. A crewneck sweater and boots make this the perfect everyday fall look.
4.) Blazer + White Tee + Agolde Lana Straight Leg Jeans + White Sneakers
Blazer (old from H&M – similar) | Tee (old from Everlane – new version) | Earrings | Necklace | Jeans (new wash – tts for a relaxed fit, consider sizing down one size for a fitted look) | Sneakers
I’ve been wearing blazers on repeat this fall, mostly plaid and black blazers. I love how blazers elevate a super casual look, just like this one. White sneakers are one of my favorite shoes to wear all year round.
5.) Blouse + Straight Leg Jeans + Woven Mules
Shirt (old from H&M – similar) | Jeans (new wash – tts for a relaxed fit, consider sizing down one size for a fitted look) | Earrings | Shoes (size up 1/2 size)
This outfit combination makes it on all of my favorite outfit combo lists— a feminine blouse, jeans, and woven mules. I love the texture and the mix of feminine and masculine. Here I cuffed the jeans up even more to show a bit of ankle and make the proportions work.
What about you, do you like straight leg jeans? If so, what is your favorite way to style them? I would love to hear from you in the comments below!

Thank you for your review Michelle! 🙂 I just bought this pair but wanted to know if I should get a size smaller. After a year of wearing (and presumably washing?), have they stretched out, and if so by how much? Thank you!

Hi! They do loosen up with wear. I personally buy all of my Agolde jeans as tight as possible and then they loosen up to be still fitted but they sort of mold to your shape. I don’t like my jeans to be loose at all, it just doesn’t look the best on my body shape. I know denim fit is really personal preference! The wash I have is old and I know that sizing can differ per wash, so I can only speak for the exact wash I got but mine still fit great and have worn well over time and with washing. I never dry them in the dryer, I hang them dry instead. I do wash my denim but not super often as that wears out the denim faster. I hope that helps!
