The Sling Bag was gifted to me and I LOVE it. I picked the color gardenia as it’s a versatile, light, neutral. As soon as I got the bag, I wore it (and am still wearing it) non-stop. I immediately loved the hands-free ease of this bag. I put it on and go and that is it— I don’t even take it off when I drive. This bag feels chic and modern. I love the size. It fits my phone, keys, a card holder, and has a bit of room to spare. If you are someone who likes to carry just the basics, this size bag is for you.
I love, love all of the colors that Abby makes. She definitely has an eye for the perfect neutral colors. The sling bag is sold in gardenia, as pictured in this post, black, tan, latte, and olive. It’s made of Kenyan pull up cow leather, which is a durable, natural leather that ages nicely. I love wearing it slung in front, but it also comes with a strap that allows you to wear it as a belt bag (or fanny pack if you’re an 80’s kid : ).
Earlier this month, Abby launched a brand new bag, The Big Sling. She again, generously gifted this bag to me to try out and I love the bigger size just as much as the original. It fits my full size wallet, keys, and phone and has room to spare. It is made of the same Kenyan pull up leather as the original size. I have The Big Sling in the black and it’s also available in gardenia and tan. If you like to carry a regular size wallet, or be able to still use a card holder and also fit a handful of more things in your bag, then this size is for you.
I can’t pick a favorite! I honestly wear both of them on repeat and I see a place for both in my closet. Carrying a card holder works just fine for me, and I like the size of the original sling bag on my upper body. However, I do like that my regular size wallet fits in The Big Sling bag and the size still looks great on. If I was getting a third bag and had to pick between the two sizes, it would honestly probably take me a really long time to decide— ha! They’re both truly so good.

Those bags are so beautiful! Does the Gardenia have a pink hue to it? (It could just be my screen – I never can tell!).
Hi Alyssa! It’s honestly such a chameleon color. It really depends on what you wear it with. I would describe it as a light, ambiguous neutral that leans warm. If you wear it with a white tee, that is when it looks the warmest and a bit pinkish. I have a photo with a white tee and cream bomber so I’ll go back and include that in the post. I hope this helps!
