We are entering into the holiday season and I couldn’t be more excited! I love all of the decor, treats, and festivities that happen. It’s the coziest time of year! Are you planning to attend any holiday parties this year? We have at least a couple to go to! Last year I shared some outfit ideas for holiday parties. This year, I wanted to continue on with that by sharing a few more easy outfit combinations.
When it comes to putting together easy holiday looks, my go-to’s are red lipstick and/or nail polish, heels, and a clutch. Sometimes I stick with my everyday jewelry and other times I try to wear something a bit more elevated.
Holiday Outfit Ideas:
1.) Moto Jacket + Fitted Top + Black Skirt + Heels
Jacket (old – similar) | Earrings | Necklace | Tank Top (old from Target – similar) | Skirt (medium) | Shoes (old from H&M – similar)
If you see something you like you can support my blog and shop the item(s) at the same time by purchasing through the affiliate links in this post. As always, I really appreciate your support!
This skirt was a recent purchase from Amazon. I wanted a dressy black skirt because I knew it would be a versatile piece that I could style for fancier occasions as they arise. I don’t get dressed up very often so I didn’t want to invest a lot of money in a piece that I’d only wear occasionally. This is a medium, my true size, and it’s available in quite a few colors. In this look I styled it with a fitted white tank top, black moto jacket, and tan heels. I added a fancier necklace and some red lipstick to up the holiday feel and to make sure the overall look felt elevated despite the top and jacket being pretty casual.
2.) Sequin Romper or Dress + Heels
Romper (medium) | Earrings | Bag (old from ABLE – similar, similar) | Heels (old from H&M – similar)
Blazer (small) | Romper (medium) | Earrings | Bag (old – similar) | Heels (old from H&M – similar)
This is a super festive, affordable piece that I recently purchased. I got it with the intention to wear it to a holiday party that Shaun and I will be attending. I got my true size, medium, and it fits really well. The back has a vertical open slit in the center and also, it has pockets! The material is stretchy and it’s honestly super comfy. Obviously, this would only work if you live somewhere that isn’t super cold. I love it styled as a monochromatic look with a tan bag and heels. I also like it layered under a black blazer, which makes a more contrasted look and of course, adds more warmth! If rompers aren’t your thing, a sequin dress would be a good swap. You could also do a sequin top with black pants or a black skirt.
3.) Blazer + Jeans + Heels
Blazer (old from Jenni Kayne – similar) | Earrings | Necklace | Tank Top (old from Target – similar) | Jeans (newer wash) | Bag (old – similar) | Heels (old from H&M – similar)
Blazer (small) | Earrings | Shirt (small) | Jeans (28) | Boots (whole sizes only so I sized down 1/2 size)
This is a great combo that you might be able to pull together from items already in your closet. If you don’t have red clothing, here is where red nail polish and lipstick can make a neutral look more holiday-ish. I could have worn a black or plaid blazer instead of the red one in the first look, and a black or white shirt in the second look instead of the red shirt. If green is more your vibe, you could also swap red for a deeper, holiday green. Another thing you could swap is the jeans— you could wear any clean (without rips) black, white or blue wash. This outfit combo is super easy and so many different colors would work.
4.) Sweater + Black Midi Skirt + Heels
Sweater (medium) | Skirt (medium) | Earrings | Bag (old – new color) | Shoes (old from Target – similar)
Sweater (old – new version) | Necklace | Skirt (medium) | Boots (whole sizes only so I sized down 1/2 size)
This outfit combo is cozy yet elevated. Whether it’s dress boot or heels, pairing them with the skirt makes the outfit fancy enough that an everyday sweater can be added and the combination works well. From there, you can further elevate the outfit through makeup, how you style your hair, and accessories.
5.) Feminine Top + Black Pleated Midi Skirt + Heels
Shirt (small) | Skirt (medium) | Earrings | Bag (old – similar) | Shoes (old from H&M – similar)
This outfit is pretty simple yet elevated and definitely holiday-ish. The pops of red and the accessories make this look feel a bit fancy and feminine.
That is it for this year! I hope that these outfit combinations inspire you to put together holiday looks with ease as you head to all of your holiday gatherings.
