Earlier this month I headed to Nisolo’s Showroom, here in Nashville. I went with a couple of friends to shop Nisolo’s fall boot collection. It’s such a fun place to go. It’s so beautiful inside, the shoes are amazing, and there is always good music playing. Before going, I’d browsed their website and narrowed my choice down to two styles— the Amalia All Weather Combat Boots and the Carmen Chelsea Boots. I tried on both styles and I loved both and ended up choosing the Amalia Combat Boots in black. The tobacco color was so lovely too.
I have a couple pairs of shoes and a couple pairs of sandals from Nisolo but this is my first time purchasing their boots. I’m a part of Nisolo’s affiliate program which simply means that if you click on my links and purchase something, I make a small commission on whatever you buy. With that said, this post is not sponsored— I bought the Amalia Combat Boots and have written this post on my own. If you haven’t heard of Nisolo, they’re a fashion brand that produces intentionally designed, fairly priced, and ethically made footwear and accessories. You can read more about them, here.
The Amalia Boots have a waterproof leather upper and custom memory foam insoles. They are beautiful— the leather is high-quality and they and so well made. I got them in my true size. Here are some of the ways I am wearing them this fall.
Black Amalia Combat Boot Outfits:
1.) Turtleneck Sweater + Black Washed Jeans + Black Combat Boots
Sweater (old from Madewell – similar) | Sunglasses | Jeans (old – new wash in the same style) | Boots (code: MICHELLETOMCZAK for 20% off your first order)
See something you like? You can shop it and support my blog at the same time by purchasing through the affiliate links in this post.
I love wearing mustard and rust tones in the fall. This sweater is a few years old but it’s still one of my favorites. I really like to pair warm autumn tones with black washed jeans and black accessories. I’ve been gravitating back towards my slimmer leg jeans now that it is boot season. I like boots with my beloved 90s jeans, but the slimmer and slightly shorter styles really show off the details on the Amalia Combat Boots.
2.) Long Sweater Blazer + Turtleneck + Jeans + Black Combat Boots
Sweater Blazer (I sized down one size) | Medium Hoops | Small Hoops | Necklace | Turtleneck (old – similar, similar) | Jeans | Bag (old from ABLE – similar) | Boots (code: MICHELLETOMCZAK for 20% off your first order)
Black, white and tan is one of my forever favorite outfit color combos. (say that three times fast :)) This outfit has just the right amount of contrast and feels balanced with the repetition of all three colors. These straight leg jeans (slimmer in the leg than some of my others) work perfectly with the boots that pop so well against the white color.
3.) Long Sleeve Dress + Combat Boots
Dress (old from H&M – similar, similar, similar) | Medium Hoops | Small Hoops | Boots (code: MICHELLETOMCZAK for 20% off your first order)
This dress is an older piece but it immediately came to mind when I brought these combat boots home. I love this pairing and would add a black top layer over it on colder days. I love keeping dresses casual by pairing them with flat boots or sneakers.
4.) Blazer + Graphic Tee + Jeans + Combat Boots
Blazer (in-store at H&M, I sized down one size – similar) | Graphic Tee | Earrings | Necklace | Jeans (old from Agolde – new wash, new wash) | Boots (code: MICHELLETOMCZAK for 20% off your first order)
Blazers have been something I’ve been gravitating towards a lot this season. I love them styled in casual ways, like in this outfit combo. The jeans and graphic tee feel super casual and the blazer and boots feel super tailored— together they give an easy and balanced feel.
5.) Crewneck Sweater + Coat + Jeans + Black Combat Boots
Trench Coat (old from H&M – similar, similar, similar) | Sweater (old from Old Navy – new version) | Medium Hoops | Small Hoops | Necklace | Jeans (I sized down 1-1.5 sizes) | Boots (code: MICHELLETOMCZAK for 20% off your first order)
Military Jacket (old from Madewell – new version, new version) | Sweater (old from Old Navy – new version, new version) | Medium Hoops | Small Hoops | Necklace | Jeans (old – same style in a new wash) | Boots (code: MICHELLETOMCZAK for 20% off your first order)
This last combo creates super simple, everyday looks that are layered and warm for fall. These last two outfits are full of staple pieces in my wardrobe that get so much wear. The boots help keep this outfit combo feeling put together and a bit more polished than a more casual shoe choice would make it feel.
