Even though I am looking forward to spring, it is definitely still sweater weather! In fact, as I type this we are getting freezing rain on top of already having ice. This weather is so abnormal for us here in Nashville, so you better believe that every child on our street was out sledding this morning!
Since it is probably cold where you are too, I decided to share a few outfits with my new, favorite rib-knit cardigan. When I received this sweater in the mail I tried it on and immediately ordered it in black because I loved it so much and it is super affordable. I actually just looked again today and saw that they now also have it in a lovely sage green color.
I sized down one size in the cardigan and it is perfectly roomy. The fit is slightly boxy and slightly cropped. I am 5’7″ and this sweater feels just the right length to pair with high-waisted pants. The sleeves are a balloon style, so they have volume and then cuff at the wrist. Now on to the outfits!
Outfit #1: Cardigan Buttoned Up + Corduroys + Mules
Cardigan | Pants | Shoes (size up 1/2 size)

A v-neck cardigan, buttoned up, works great as a top! I love it here as it coordinates perfectly with the color of my mules. The warm tone of my cropped, straight-leg corduroys rounds out with neutral look and adds even more texture to this look.
Outfit #2: Cardigan open + Tank + Flare Jeans + Loafers
Cardigan | Tank | Jeans (I am 5’7″ and I got the long insteam, mine are the style linked in a wash from last year) | Shoes (old from Zara – similar, similar)
This outfit has fun and interesting proportions because of the repeated volume in the balloon sleeves of the cardigan and in the flare leg jeans. This look is simple and comfortable— these pieces together make a slightly elevated, everyday look.
Outfit #3: Cardigan + Floral Midi Dress + Flats or Sneakers
Cardigan | Dress | Sneakers (I sized up 1/2 size)
Cardigan | Dress (old from H&M – similar, similar) | Shoes (old from Zara – similar)
I styled this outfit two ways— with sneakers and with flats. The different colors in the prints of the two dresses, and the different styles of shoes really change the overall vibe between these two looks. Which way would you wear it?
Thanks for being here! Are you still enjoying your cozy sweaters or are you ready for spring? I would love to hear from you in the comments below!

Thanks Andrea! Ahhh I know— and it’s sticking around! If we get snow, like once per year, it stays for like half of a day. lol
