I never imagined myself in pleated pants, but here I am, two pairs deep! I probably should have learned by now, that the phrase, “never say never” perfectly applies to fashion— ha!

I love experimenting with new things and adding variety to my closet. These pleated pants were easy to weave in with the other garments that I already own. Both pairs of pleated pants in this post are high-rise and a cropped length. Here are five outfits that I styled with pleated pants!

Outfit #1: Floral Shirt + Military Jacket + Belt + Loafers

This outfit feels like a blend of dressy and casual. The pairing of the belt and loafers dress it up, while the military jacket adds a casual feeling to the outfit. Overall this look feels balanced and appropriate for a variety of every day occasions from work, to a lunch date, to running errands.

Outfit #2: Long-sleeve Tee + Sneakers

This outfit is my favorite of the bunch. I love how minimal it is. The fitted, ribbed tee allows the pants to be the focal point of the outfit. The sneakers feel a tad unexpected and bring balance out the black top. This is an everyday look for me, and I would wear it for any daily activities.

Outfit #3: Denim Jacket + Ribbed Shirt + Mules

I love the light colors in this outfit with the bag adding a pop of black that helps ground the outfit. This is an casual, everyday look that can be worn for any daily activities.

My favorite thing about this outfit is the color combination of tans with rust— if feels very fall-ish! This feels like an elevated, everyday outfit. I would wear it to a day event like baby shower or to lunch with friends.

Outfit #5: Graphic Tee + Leather Jacket + Mules

This last outfit best embodies my current style right now. I find myself wearing a lot of mules and this pair is my favorite. I am a big fan of graphic tees and juxtaposing styles— feminine and masculine, hard and soft, casual and dressy. I would wear this day or night!
