It feels like the perfect week to share my go-to winter outfit combos for 2023-2024 because we’re snowed in and school is cancelled all week. As I stare out my window at the winter wonderland that rarely shows it’s face in Nashville, I’m happy to share these six outfit combos with you. First, let me share a few tips on how to identify your own go-to seasonal outfit combos and why this is something that is beneficial.

How to Identify Your Go-To Outfit Combos

• Think back over your outfits from the past week or two.
• Observe what you wear— take daily outfit photos or write down what you wear.
• If combos don’t emerge, intentionally build outfits from what you have in your closet. You can research and save outfit ideas that you find on Pinterest, Instagram, Blogs, etc.

In this first outfit combo, the base is pure comfort. A long coat elevates the outfit and interest is added through your choice of handbag. You will feel like you’re in your pjs but you’ll look put together.

My third outfit combo is casual chic. A turtleneck is immediately chic, especially in black. I love it paired with denim, a more casual element. You can add any style of shoes and coat to this pairing— it works every time.

For the fourth combo, it’s an elevated piece sandwiched between two casual pieces. Apparently I like it with a sling bag and long coat, but other outwear and handbag options would also work.

I love jumpsuits in every season. For winter it’s determining what shoes, top layer, and bag you want to wear. You can lean more dressy (left photo) or fully casual (right photo) and both work.

This last combo feels really classic but is made modern by what cuts you choose. I like my button up shirts oversized with barrel leg or wide leg pants. This brings a modern twist to each piece. Just add your top layer and handbag of choice.
