I love wearing jumpsuits and the Alex Mill Expedition Jumpsuit is a great option. This one-and-done piece is so easy and effortlessly cool. You might think a one piece isn’t very versatile, after all you can’t mix and match it— it sort of is what it is. You can, however, switch up the overall feeling of your jumpsuit outfit by using different accessories and layering.

How does the Alex Mill Expedition Jumpsuit Fit?

I got my true size in the jumpsuit, and it fits great. It only comes in one length— a 26.5″ inseam which is ankle length. This jumpsuit is great if you’re on the shorter side. For me at 5’7″, I wish it was about an inch-and-a-half or two longer, or offered in multiple lengths. The fabric is a soft, washed twill that is 55% tercel, 42% cotton, and 3% elastane. The fabric has a bit of stretch so it is comfy. There is a belt at the waist that you can tie however you like or remove. This jumpsuit is a garment dyed piece, so it has beautiful, subtle, variations in color.

For the first look, the jumpsuit is the base of the outfit. I really love the interest that the white studded fisherman sandals bring to the look, and the distressed details on denim jacket. I finished the outfit by adding warmth to it with a brown handbag in an interesting shape.

The goal of this look was the elevate the jumpsuit. On it’s own is casual, but here I added coordinating black accessories which makes it feel chic. This outfit combo would work well for a day in the office followed by a happy hour.

This combination is all about casual spring. I paired complimentary colors— the green jumpsuit with subtly pink accessories. The details of the handwoven sandals add texture to the outfit, coordinating perfectly with the handbag. I rolled the sleeves of the jumpsuit and the end look is a great, everyday outfit.

For this look I kept it super basic. I rolled the sleeves of the jumpsuit and added cream, slip-on sneakers. To add interest to the outfit, I added a checkered pot bag as a statement piece, taking this basic look to interesting.

This outfit combination is perfect for fall. I matched up my cashmere sweater and waffle socks, laying the sweater over my shoulders. I then coordinated my black samba sneakers with a black handbag, creating balance to this cool weather look.
