Baggy jeans are back. If you didn’t see this blog post coming from me, neither did I— a review of Agolde Low Slung Baggy Jeans. My fit preference for jeans it fitted— not loose, not even relaxed, tight please.
When Agolde released the Low Slung Baggy Jeans, I saw the photos of them on their website and it was an immediate no for me. Awhile later, I saw the design director at Agolde post a video about the Low Slung Baggy Jeans on Instagram. She called them their “jean of the season” and offered up some styling ideas. My no turned into curiosity. After that, I saw the jeans in some real life photos and to my own surprise— I liked them. I was still unsure if they’d work for me, but at that point I decided to get out of my comfort zone and order a pair to try.
I immediately loved them.

How do Agolde Low Slung Baggy Jeans Fit?
Agolde Low Slung Baggy Jeans are “ultra relaxed”, according to the website. They fit true to size and are meant to be oversized. I resisted the urge to size down, opting to go for the intended baggy fit of my true size and I’m really happy with them.
The wash I have is called “void”. These jeans come in two different lengths— 28″ and 30.5″ inseams. I am 5’7″ and I got the 30.5″ inseam, which is full-length on me.
What exactly does low slung mean? It doesn’t mean low rise. These jeans have a button fly and the rise is 12.5 inches, so if worn fitted that would be a very high rise. However, given the baggy fit, the waist hangs lower on your hips. So on me, the jeans hit just below my belly button. Like in these photos.
These jeans are made of 100% organic cotton denim, which means they will stretch out with wear. These baggy jeans get even a bit more baggy.
Agolde Low Slung Baggy Jeans Outfit Ideas
1.) Cardigan + Baggy Jeans + Heeled Boots
Cardigan (gifted, I sized down one size) | Bag (gifted, code: MICHELLETOMCZAK15 for 15% off) | Jeans | Boots (gifted, tts, code: TOMCZAK for 15% off)
This first looks feels casual chic. I love the gaspard jumper from Sézane and my favorite way to wear it is buttoned up as a top. The look feels modern with the baggy jeans and square toe boots.
2.) Trench Coat + Long Sleeve Shirt + Jeans + White Sneakers
Trench Coat (tts, this color is in-store only, same style in beige and black) | Shirt | Short Necklace (gifted) | Long Necklace (gifted, similar same brand) | Bag (gifted, almost perfect mini crossbody in nutmeg) | Jeans | Sneakers (tts, code: MICHELLE15 for 15% off your first order)
Another casual look, loose, layered, and so comfy. I love the green-toned trench with the red-toned bag and fresh white sneakers. It all feels effortless, modern, and perfect for any day of the week.
3.) Blazer + Baggy Jeans + Pointy Toe Boots
Blazer (I sized down one size) | Short Necklace (gifted) | Long Necklace (gifted, similar same brand) | Shirt (old – similar) | Jeans | Bag | Boots (gifted, tts, code: TOMCZAK for 15% off)
This casual chic look is elevated by the oversized blazer and pointy toe, heeled boots. The baggy jeans adds the casual element. The black handbag adds some contrast against the lighter tones in the outfit.
4.) Leather Jacket + Striped Shirt + Baggy Jeans + High Top Sneakers
Jacket (tts for fitted, size up for a relaxed fit as I did – code: MICHELLETOMCZAK15 for 15% off) | Shirt (gifted, tts or size up if in-between sizes) | Bag (gifted, code: MICHELLETOMCZAK15 for 15% off) | Necklace (gifted, similar same brand) | Jeans | Sneakers (size down 1/2)
This look is super easy and casual. The length of the leather jacket works well proportionally with the baggy jeans. It also adds a warm tone to the look. The stripes add interest, and the light accessories pair back nicely to the ecru shade on the shirt.
5.) Fitted Top + Baggy Jeans + Heels
Shirt (tts) | Jeans | Necklace | Bag (old from ABLE – similar – code MICHELLETOMCZAK15 for 15% off) | Heels
This was a look I put together for the holidays, but I think the combo still works for anytime when it comes to shapes. I would just swap the velvet top for another fitted, dressy top and keep the heels. This is the perfect way to elevate these jeans for a date night or a night out with friends.
